VIRTUAL RIDING LESSONS
Your Arena. Your Horse. Expert Instruction.
Experience the benefits of one-on-one riding instruction without leaving your own facility. Through live virtual lessons, Shaunna Dunlap brings her knowledge, experience, and teaching directly to you and your horse, wherever you ride.
REAL-TIME VIRTUAL INSTRUCTION
Bringing the lesson to you.
A virtual riding lesson is exactly that: a lesson. You'll ride in your own arena while Shaunna teaches remotely, observing your work, guiding exercises, and helping you make adjustments as you go.
Rather than waiting until after a ride to find out what could have gone differently, you can address difficulties as they arise, explore new approaches, and feel the difference while you're still in the saddle.
It's an opportunity to train with an experienced instructor without relocating your horse, hauling to another facility, or limiting your choices to coaches within driving distance.

THE VALUE OF SOUND FUNDAMENTALS
A broader perspective on riding
Shaunna's teaching draws on principles of dressage and eventing, with an emphasis on correct biomechanics, rider balance, and effective communication between horse and rider. These fundamentals can benefit equestrians across a wide range of riding styles and competitive pursuits.
Her virtual students include riders in multiple states around the country, among them Quarter Horse competitors who have successfully incorporated dressage-based techniques into their Western training and competition.
By adapting her instruction to each horse-and-rider partnership, Shaunna helps students apply these principles in ways that are relevant to their own riding goals.
GET CONNECTED. GET RIDING.
A Riding Lesson Without the Road Trip.
Virtual lessons make it easy to get expert instruction, no matter where you and your horse are. Here’s how it works.
Set Up Your Connection
Arrange your phone and compatible video equipment so Shaunna can see you and your horse as you ride. A tracking system such as Pivo can help keep the action in view.
Ride & Learn
Work through exercises with Shaunna teaching in real time. She can introduce new concepts, adjust an exercise, or help you work through a difficulty as the lesson unfolds.
Build on Each Session
Continue practicing what you've learned and use subsequent lessons to introduce new exercises, develop existing skills, and work toward your riding goals.
MORE POSSIBILITIES FOR YOUR TRAINING
What virtual coaching can offer you
Consistency in Your Training
Regular lessons allow you to build on previous work, address developing issues, and maintain a clear direction in your training rather than relying on occasional instruction.
Help With Your Horse's Challenges
Whether you're struggling with a particular movement, an ongoing training difficulty, or an aspect of your own riding, Shaunna can observe what's happening and help you work through it.
Instruction Tailored to Your Goals
Your lessons can focus on the skills and challenges that matter to you, whether you're preparing for competition, developing a young horse, or simply working toward a more enjoyable partnership.
A Familiar Training Environment
Working at your usual facility allows Shaunna to see how you and your horse perform in your everyday schooling environment, rather than only during an occasional lesson away from home.
