Whether in the barn, the pasture, or the arena, our priority remains the same: maintaining high standards of care and providing a structured, well-managed environment for the horses entrusted to us.
We are committed to the progress and well-being of every horse and rider. For this reason, new boarders are required to enroll in a lesson package as part of their boarding agreement. This allows us to ensure a consistent training approach and a supportive, goal-focused environment.

At White Winds Farm, good horsemanship extends well beyond the training arena. Owner and trainer Shaunna takes an active, hands-on role in the daily care and handling of the horses, from feeding and turnout to overseeing their individual needs.
Every horse is an individual, with its own temperament, habits, and requirements. Through consistent daily involvement, Shaunna develops a thorough understanding of each horse and provides care tailored to its specific needs, rather than relying on a one-size-fits-all approach. It's a practical, experience-driven philosophy built on knowledgeable handling, careful observation, and attention to the details that matter.

Our farm offers your horse a safe and caring environment, surrounded by other horses and knowledgeable horsemen and women.
We have numerous pastures, with plans for more in the future. Our property features a lighted 110 x 200 sand arena, along with a jumping field and dressage ring. Our barns provide a total of eight 12 x 12 and 10 x 12 stalls, along with 2 smaller pony stalls and a run-in featuring an additional 3 stalls.

✦ 2 daily grain feedings, each including a scoop of wet beet pulp
✦ 2 to 3 daily hay feedings (we typically feed grass hay mixes of orchard, timothy, and occasionally alfalfa)
✦ Owner-provided supplements at the appropriate feedings
✦ Hard keepers can be provided with a third feeding for an additional fee.
✦ We offer Tribute feed (Essential K and Kalm ‘n EZ.) Alfalfa pellets are available for an additional monthly fee.
✦ Stalls are cleaned daily, with shavings provided. Please note that especially “messy” horses may incur an additional charge.

✦ A final check is performed each night at 9:00 p.m. to ensure everyone is tucked in safely for the evening.

At White Winds Farm, Shaunna takes a calm, consistent, and individualized approach to training horses of all ages and experience levels. Her emphasis is on establishing correct fundamentals while developing the strength, fitness, balance, and body awareness necessary for continued progress. Through purposeful schooling and cross-training, she works to produce forward, supple, responsive horses with the confidence and versatility to meet the demands of their chosen discipline.
Whether bringing along a young horse, refining an experienced mount, or addressing gaps in its education, each horse's training is guided by its individual abilities, temperament, and stage of development.

FLEXIBLE TRAINING
Single Training Ride
Individual training sessions tailored to your horse's current needs and stage of development. Ideal for addressing specific training concerns, reinforcing established skills, or providing an occasional professional schooling ride.

CONSISTENT DEVELOPMENT
Partial Training Board
A structured training option combining full-care boarding with an average of three professional training rides per week. Designed for horses that benefit from consistent schooling and continued development without a full training schedule.

Full Training Board
Our most comprehensive training option combines full-care boarding with an average of six professional training rides per week. This program provides consistent, focused work toward each horse's training objectives, with private owner lessons included.
No extra farm fees for competitions; owner is responsible for entry and trailering fees.
